About SafeTap Guide
SafeTap Guide publishes short, practical guides to keeping an iPhone and the accounts on it secure. Every guide is built around settings that are already on your phone, so you can follow it without buying anything.
How we write the guides
- Each step is checked on current iOS versions, and setting paths are given for both iOS 17 and iOS 18 where they differ.
- We describe risks in plain terms and don't use scare tactics. Nothing on this site can see your phone or tell you it is infected.
- Guides show an "Updated" date. We review them when Apple changes the relevant settings.
How we review apps
When we mention an app, we list what it does, what it can't do on iOS, its full price including subscriptions and trials, and how to cancel. We link only to the official App Store page so the price and terms you see come from Apple.
Disclosure
SafeTap Guide is an independent website. We are a marketing partner of the Forteya Security App, developed by ERODIOS DOO, and we may be paid when people install or subscribe to it after visiting our site. Links that can earn us money are marked with rel="sponsored".
This doesn't change our guides: every checklist step works without any app, and we state each app's limits and costs alongside its features. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, iPhone, iOS, Face ID and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
We run advertising, including Google Ads, to reach readers. Ads appear on other websites and search results, not on these pages.
